By enrolling in this health-coaching course (the “Course”), you (the “Student”) agree to be legally bound by the following Terms & Conditions (the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, do not enroll or access the Course.
1.Course Enrollment & Access
1.1 Upon enrollment and payment, Students receive access to Course materials, live classes, workshops, and the student portal.
1.2 Access is granted exclusively to the enrolled Student. Sharing access, materials, or login credentials is strictly prohibited.
2.Intellectual Property
2.1 All Course content — including videos, lectures, slides, documents, digital materials, and training resources — is owned by the Provider and protected by intellectual property laws.
2.2 Students are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal educational use only.
2.3 Students may not reproduce, share, sell, or distribute Course materials in any form without written permission.
3.Payment & Fees

3.2 If a payment plan is chosen, the Student is responsible for completing all scheduled payments.
3.3 The Provider may suspend or revoke access for late or failed payments.
4.Refund & Cancellation Policy
4.1 Any deposit required for enrollment is non-refundable.
4.2 No refunds are issued once access to the student portal has been granted or once the first live class begins, whichever occurs first.
4.3 Students who withdraw or fail to meet requirements remain responsible for all payments.
5.Educational Disclaimer - No Medical Advice
Updated 12.1.2025
5.1 The Course is educational only. It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
5.2 Enrollment in the Course does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or legally regulated professional relationship.
5.3 The Provider makes no guarantees regarding certification, business outcomes, or health-related results.
6.Student Responsibilities, Attendance & Conduct
6.1 Attendance Requirements
- Students must attend a minimum of 40 live hours of instruction.
- The Course includes 9 live workshops. Students may miss up to one (1) workshop without requiring make-up.
- Missing more than one workshop requires approved make-up work or attendance at additional sessions, if available.
- Attendance is recorded based on engagement and interaction. Students must have their cameras on and participate throughout the live session to be marked present.
6.2 Participation & Engagement
Students are expected to:
- Actively engage in classes and discussions.
- Complete assignments on time.
- Respond when called upon.
- Maintain professional presence (including camera use, attentiveness, and appropriate behavior).
6.3 Professional Conduct
Students must treat instructors, staff, and peers with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the Course without refund.
6.4 Account Security
Students must not share login credentials, allow unauthorized access to workshops, or share recorded content or materials.
7.Course Completion and Extension Policy
Updated 5.27.2026
All coursework must be completed within 14 days of the last live class, and no refunds are given once the first class begins. If coursework is incomplete after 14 days, student portal access will be suspended and an email notification will be sent. Students may request a strict 30-day extension for a $50 fee; an invoice will be sent directly to the student, and portal access will remain deactivated until payment is received. If the coursework is still not completed within this 30-day extension window, the student must retake the course, for which HWCA charges a $1,000 retake fee. All outstanding fees must be paid in full before HWCA will issue a certificate of completion and the qualifying documents for the national exam. Nutrition Factors reserves the right to modify course structures, deadlines, fees, and completion policies at any time.
8.Termination of Access
The Provider may revoke a Student’s access without refund if the Student violates this Agreement, disrupts the learning environment, engages in academic dishonesty, or misuses Course materials.
9.Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
9.1 Provider is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the Student’s actions, use of Course information, or reliance on educational content.
9.2 Student agrees to indemnify and hold Provider harmless from claims arising from Student’s misuse of Course materials or violation of this Agreement.
10.Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Davis County, Utah, unless otherwise agreed.
11.Modifications
The Provider may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued enrollment or access after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12.Acceptance of Terms
By checking the “I Agree” box during enrollment, or by participating in the Course, the Student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
